I know I didn't sell any back to the merchant or ticket seller because I would have remembered that. In my mind clicking on the Sell tab would have made a memory impression or something that I would have remembered well.

I'm thinking it's either a glitch that took the tickets or maybe I did have a total amount of tickets that ended in a 0 or 5 in the ones digit and that I had 0 tickets left when I ran out. I don't recall how many tickets I started out with before going AFK to sleep. I was pretty sleepy and I may not have looked at the amount. If so I probably didn't note it with much attention.

I did 25 hero fff runs to get 3.75k, enough to get a stack of tickets. I transfered the faction for 5 amber chunks and 5 urgoz scrolls to get extra money. I got 5 of each to see which yielded more money but they both only got me 100g each. So I used the total amount of gold to get a stack of tickets plus an extra amount. I don't recall if this partial stack ended in a 0 or 5. I went to the middle 9 rings circle, turn off the monitor, and went to sleep.

I awoke and turned on the monitor and moved the mouse to turn off the screen saver. This is a crucial point because I remember seeing the chat box saying I needed 10 tickets to play. So that means I ran out, okay. Now usually when this happens I look at my inventory F9 window to see how many tickets I have left. Usually it's been some number other than 0 or 5 throughout the weekend. This last time, I'm not sure. I don't know how to hypnotize myself to remember. I tried to imagine a completely empty F9 window but was careful to not make myself remember it that way because I wanted to when it may not be true. Being passive in my thinking, the image of an empty F9 window did cause a ping! in my mind, as in yes it may have happened.

So maybe I can assume this is the most probable thing that happened. I think I may have even thought "no tickets" at that moment. That also feels familiar. I tried to do the same thinking to remember how many tickets I had in the partial stack but I don't think I even paid attention to that.

Anyone ever had an episode like this?

I'm sure I had a 5 ending number, because I bought as much tickets I could at the moment and the number ended in 7, and I thought it was dumb to have 7 tickets so I sold 2 back to the merchant.

A few hours later I return and the number of tickets left in my inventory was neither 0 or 5, but 8. I'm sure the counting is somewhat glitched. I thought it was weird, but decided to spend those in the 16 rings anyway.

Whoa whoa, wait a minute, how did that happen? Something must be up with that. So maybe there is a glitch. Your incident is now the second we're hearing about a possible glitch.

Anyone else?

Maybe just maybe your data didn't get saved to the server properly?
I remember when one boardwalk event was on we had a few rollbacks
and glitches and they said it was a server hiccup but that involved a lot of peeps
not just one or 2.
I still had a few stacks left at end of event and was kicked back to shing je
without incident.

Hmm it could be. It was close to the scheduled end of the festival. It was about 11:42am or so when I woke up and checked my character, the ending scheduled for 12 noon. The game was still going on but maybe there were multiple new builds for the transition like what happened when the festival began. If that happened to me, it may have happened the next time I logged in after that. I think I closed GW right after to go back to sleep or something, then some hours later I went back in and maybe a number of new builds for GW happened during that time.

EDIT: ~Oh yeah I remember something else! When the festival began I planted my character on the 9 rings game and it said a new build is available. So I closed GW and went back in and instead of being in the Sing Jea outpost I was back at Lutgardis where I do hero fff. That was when the thing began though and it didn't occur to me to check how many tickets I had before and after that. But yeah something like that did happen this weekend.
